KTAB4U To Feature Albany Merchants

This Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:00pm, the KTAB4U show will feature our local merchants with a complete episode on shopping in Albany.

This is a great opportunity for folks in the rest of the Big Country to discover the one-of-a-kind stores that feature cool, sometimes locally made, merchandise you just won’t find anywhere else. The Downtown merchants have just completed their most successful ever “Black Friday” weekend of sales, helped in part by the drawing for “Santa script” after the parade on Saturday evening. Black Friday and Saturday shoppers had been collecting tickets from participating merchants, one ticket for every $10 spent. After the parade, a drawing was held to award the Santa script that can now be redeemed like cash in the participating stores.

The merchants of Albany are grateful to KTAB4U for spotlighting us at this time of the year. There are several new books by Albany authors available in the stores this holiday season along with lots of new items that are just waiting to be wrapped up and placed under someone’s Christmas tree.

In fact, if you haven’t been downtown to see what’s new in holiday decor, items to make your holiday entertaining more fun, and gifts for everyone on your list, you definitely should check things out right away.

So be sure to tune in to KTAB4U on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm and find out what you didn’t know about shopping in Albany!
