Need a comfy lodging in Albany? As with restaurants, we are not large enough for those cookie-cutter national chains, but nonetheless you’ll find many charming and unique places to hang your hat.
There are two motels in town, one with an RV park, and several bed and breakfasts. Some B&Bs are in historic homes, but all have a fascinating story to tell.
If you prefer the quiet of the country, there are a number of ranches near Albany that offer lodging, as well as hunting, fishing and wildlife tours. Fort Griffin State Park a few miles north offers camping and RV facilities among other amenities.
Whether you choose lodgings in town or in the country, you’re sure to find a warm welcome.
